With almost 200 civil and criminal jury trials under his belt, his trial skills are legendary. Andrew S. Hanes
Andy has been an attorney with The Faulkner Law Office since 2008. His practice is predominately focused on personal injury; civil litigation; family law; property law; estates and probate; and criminal defense. Andy has successfully represented clients in all stages of both civil and criminal litigation over the past 10+ years. 

Born and raised in Scioto County, Andy currently resides in Wheelersburg with his wife Danielle, and two sons. Andy is a Board Member for Scioto County Habitat for Humanity and is also a yearly participant in the Scioto County District Mock Trial Competition, previously as a coach for South Webster High School, and now as a competition judge. In his free time, Andy is involved in coaching his sons’ youth sports teams and is also an avid sports fan and reader.

Prior to joining The Faulkner Law Office in 2008, Andy served as a Staff Attorney/Bailiff for the Honorable Judge Richard E. Berens of the Fairfield County (Ohio) Common Pleas Court from 2006-2008. Andy also previously worked as a Law Clerk for the Columbus, Ohio law firm of Wiles, Boyle, Burkholder & Bringardner Co. LPA from 2003-2005.

Robert T. Trujillo (True-He-Yo)
Robert has been with the Faulkner Law Office since November of 2018. His practice encompasses criminal defense, domestic/custody matters, personal/auto injury, and other legal areas. Robert’s favorite practice area is OVI/DUI defense. He is also particularly knowledgeable in acquiring and defending against protection orders, as well as sealing/expunging criminal records 

Born in New Mexico, Robert lived on the Navajo Indian Reservation in Chinle, Arizona for eight years. Therafter he moved to Winchester, Kentucky where he graduated from George Rogers Clark High School. He now resides in Greenup, Kentucky with his wife, Allison Dawn Rowe Trujillo, and two daughters.

Robert’s hobbies include solving Rubik Cubes, growing hot peppers, fishing, camping, and foreign language study. (Robert maintains conversational proficiency in Spanish, French, and American Sign Language)

Robert currently serves as Secretary for the Scioto County Bar Association; Hearing officer for the Scioto County Juvenile Court Teen Court program; and Bar Counsel for the Scioto County Bar Association. As Bar Counsel, Robert investigates and prosecutes ethics violations for local attorneys when amicable resolutions to grievances are not attainable.

Past Experience
During Law School Robert was a summer Law Clerk for McBrayer, McGinnis, Leslie, and Kirkland in Greenup, KY. He also served as a board member of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section; Co-Founder/Vice President of the University of Cincinnati College of Law chapter of the Latino Law Students Association; and Hamilton County Youth Court Volunteer. In 2023, Robert was also appointed by U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio Chief Judge Algenon L. Marbley to be a member of the Merit Selection Committee to review the reappointment of U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Kimberly A. Jolson.
